 Born in Newmarket, Suffolk in 1983 as the youngest of three, Laura Slater studied Fine Art in Cambridge, and later gained a BA HONS Illustration qualification from the University of Portsmouth in 2004. She later moved to London for studio work, and gained experience as a
retoucher, a lighting technician and, primarily, as a digital
photographer.
After being head hunted, Slater entered the High Fashion,
Advertising and ATL industries, working on a wide variety of renowned
accounts. To extend her range of photography Slater then moved to
Turkey and Val D’Isere over the next couple of years and collated many
extreme sports shots. Now returning to London she has continued to work
as a sports shooter, as well as a glamorous and portraiture
photographer.
Laura's work for 3B includes on-location work in hotels and restaurants, as well as sports shoots and head shots for 3B clients' websites.
