Google Analytics is a powerful tool for measuring the success of your website, your marketing efforts, and your products and services. It is a fantastic statistics package which Google have made available for free (it used to cost $500 a month!). It allows you to monitor many things, such as how people are finding your site, where they come from, what pages they visit, how long they stay, what they buy, what makes them give up, and where they go.
It integrates Google’s AdWords in case you decide to use Pay-Per-Click advertising and need to track your expenditure and success rates. Many of our clients use Analytics and find it both fascinating and worthwhile to find out how people locate the site and navigate it, allowing them to improve certain pages as appropriate.
Joomla allows us to put this throughout the whole site with a single click, and you can give rights to anyone in your company who need to see the reports, as well as scheduling PDF emails of the statistics to be sent to anyone who requires them.
