Ecommerce
E-Commerce is the use of electronic information technologies on the Internet to conduct business transactions. There are now many types of businesses that specialise in handling of payments over the internet in a safe and secure way. We reccommend the following PayPal,Barclays ePDQ and WorldPay (RBS).
One of the best uses of e-commerce is the shopping cart. This piece of software acts as an interface between a company's Web site and its deeper infrastructure. This allows consumers to select merchandise, review what they have selected, make the necessary modifications or additions and purchase the merchandise.
Another good use of e-commerce is the use of digital delivery. This allows the delivery of public content or electronic data, by digital transmission. (e.g. PDFs and MP3s)
