Joomla - Creating a gallery of photos (using Simple Image Gallery Pro)

Inserting a gallery of photos in a content item has never been easier!
Click on the "insert image" button
Create a suitably named folder inside the "gallery" folder
Upload all of your images for this particular gallery to that folder, one at a time, ensuring that they are resized to suitable dimensions for the web (600px is ideal)
Once the images are online, close the image window so that you're just back in Joomla itself.
This is the clever bit - just type in: {gallery}FOLDER NAME WITHIN GALLERY FOLDER{/gallery}
(Make sure you don't omit the / in the second tag)
So, if you've made a folder within "gallery" called "exhibition2007" you would type {gallery}exhibition2007{/gallery}
Save the content item and check it out on the site - hey presto, an automatic image gallery!
If you like what you see, and want to play with the gallery more (changing the size of the thumbnails, showing just one in the item, which pops up to show the whole gallery etc) then just have a read of this: http://demo.joomlaworks.gr/content/view/36/1/
